My name’s Sara and I run Sassy Upcycling, an eco-friendly and sustainable jewellery business based at my home studio in Crediton, Devon. I handcraft unique upcycled earrings, pendants, bracelets, rings, anklets and necklaces from preloved beads and old, unloved, vintage jewellery. 

I passionately believe everything we use or make must be sustainable and all my work is made from as many recycled elements as possible. My goal is to keep as much old and unwanted jewellery out of the landfill by upcycling each and every piece. Giving it a new lease on life as something fabulous and beautiful. 

The beads and wire used in my jewellery collections are all sourced from charity shops, car boot sales, online second-hand sites and flea markets. 

Each piece of jewellery is broken down into its constituent parts: beads, metalwork and wire. They are then sorted by colour and materials before I sit down at my workbench to begin the creative process. Combining these wonderful vintage beads into new designs I create exciting and unique pieces of jewellery for my customers. 

I offer a sassy bespoke service, repairing and reworking unworn personal jewellery for my clients, turning each piece into something fresh and exciting, ready to be worn and loved again.
